Halloweekend 2017

Happy Halloween Eve!!!!!
We had a fun weekend prepping for Halloween. Target did a Paw Patrol and trick-or-treat event. We have Paw Patrol’s #1 fan in our house, so we had to attend. Obviously.

They had a table at the entrance with Paw Patrol buckets and stickers. They gave every child one and then you went from station to station getting more goodies. At the electronics section, they had a special Paw Patrol episode on the TVs. Harper planted herself on the floor and didn’t leave until we prayed her away.
We didn’t make it to a pumpkin patch this year, so we got grocery store pumpkins. They are such a good price, so I think we won in the end.
We allowed Chloe and Addi to carve theirs all on their own. Addi made a horse and Chloe carved a girl wearing a dress. I’m not sure why I didn’t get a picture of the other two.
They did not want to stick their hands in the pumpkin guts. Chloe ended up getting brace and even helped me separate the seeds! I love roasting them and discovered a garlic Parmesan recipe. Yum!
We have a church event tonight and will trick-or-treat tomorrow. November 1st I will officially start watching Christmas movies. (Unofficially, I watch them all year.)
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! What are your kids dressing up as tomorrow? Do you go door to door or stick to trunk or treats?
