Easter 2018

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter.
I really was pushing it to the last minute this year. I bought the last of Easter basket gifts on Saturday, along with cardigans for the girls to wear over their dresses. I usually try to have Easter pajamas for the kids each year, but that certainly didn’t happen this year.

Their bed head cracks me up! Since we didn’t have to be at church hours early this year, we were able to do our egg hunt before church! We tried to get a picture of all three of them, but it went as well as any photo involving an energetic three year old. I just made a nice little slideshow for you to enjoy.

We had a great service at church in the morning. Then, we went to my mom and dad’s house for a really delicious lunch and celebration! It was fun to have two thirds of us there. I facetimed my younger sister and her kiddos so it felt like we were all together. I used to be the one on a screen. It’s still surreal to actually be around for everything. I know it won’t last, but I’ll soak it up as much as I can.

We managed to get everything in before the snow came. Why on earth does it have to snow on Easter. It was rude enough to stick around today.
I am still disappointed that we didn’t get a picture of the five of us. One year I will make it happen…
