Christmas Recap

Did you have a wonderful Christmas? It is always sad when it it all comes to an end. There is so much anticipation and excitement; then it’s over in the blink of an eye.

These three were so excited on Christmas Eve. Harper didn’t have any idea what is going on, but she knew something fun was coming!
I now know why my parents were always so exhausted on Christmas morning. Waiting for your kids to go to sleep while you go to work on building toys and finishing up wrapping takes FOREVER. But, it’s so much fun to imagine their little faces lighting up when they see the tree. It’s 100% worth it!

Our tree was super full. We don’t live near our families, so each set of grandparents usually mails their gifts to us, and then we Skype with them so they can watch it all unfold. It also made opening presents last until almost noon!

I love the mess that is made on Christmas morning. Our house has become super chaotic with packing for the move. To have a day of all-out celebration was a blast. Harper’s favorite toy was her B. Toys Zany Zoo activity table. Chloe and Addi have loved it just as much. It seems to be the overall winner of the day. Addison’s Lucy dog is also a crowd favorite. I have been “training” her every day since Christmas. Chloe loves her tea set. She has been very excited to see her Mimi so that they can have a tea party together.
What was your favorite gift this year?
We always use Swagbucks year round. We save our points and get Amazon or Paypal gift cards and then use them to pay for Birthday and Christmas gifts. It takes a huge weight off of our shoulders each year.

I have a REALLY exciting giveaway happening on the blog on Friday! Be on the lookout!
