I enjoy DIY-ing. I don’t get much time to do anything crafty or artsy, so I usually do quick projects that I can do while the girls fight bedtime. I have been eyeing yarn wall hangings for a while. I love the texture and vibe of them all.
I found this tutorial and created something that I really love. I put a chunky braid in my yarn to add some more visual interest. I cannot decide if I want to trim it up and make it look more clean, or leave it disheveled. I like things to be a little imperfect. Since I cannot decide, I am leaving it alone.
The best part of this project was that I already had the yarn hanging around. I picked up a big, straight stick and went to work while watching The Intern with my hubby.
